I live near San Jose, CA. Even in a big urban area, it's difficult to find a good bio-HRT doctor. I started with the Life Extension:
Innovative Doctors

Most were retired or not findable on the Internet. One was eliminated by poor reviews.

One was a BodyLogicMD doctor. I know nothing about this company, but the doctor didn't have any other Web presence. Is this is a franchise? There was so little info on the Web site, I was concerned that they're pushing expensive tests or hormone products or more doctor visits than I actually need. Has anyone had experience with them or a similar firm?

Another way to find doctors is to contact a local compounding pharmacy and ask for referrals.

Has anyone had experience with remote doctor visits? How does this work? Problems? Advantages?

Thanks,
Elaine

Life Extension relies on member feedback to determine the continued eligibility of physicians on the list.  Would you please let us know of any that are no longer in practice?

BodyLogicMD is a network of physicians who are knowledgeable concerning bioidentical hormone replacement therapy.  Only know of a couple of people who have consulted one, but none reported that the physicians pushed unnecessary tests or hormones.

Sorry, I just checked the list and the retired docs are gone.

Thanks for the info on BodyLogicMD. I couldn't find any local reviews. They're not listed on Yelp. So it's good to know that they're not pushy.

Thanks,
Elaine
