I have 2 largish, 1 medium sized and 3 small lumps on my neck. I've been told this has been caused by a tumour behind the nose and that treatment will probably consist of radiotherapy and chemotherapy (I've to have a biopsy done on the naso... tumour under anaesthetic tomorrow before they decide). Any advice  or knowledge gratefully received.

So sorry to hear of your condiditon.  Please pardon my ignorance, but is this classified under head and neck cancer?  If so, it is my understanding that some tumors are positive for HPV and may respond differently to treatment.  Please let us know what your biopsy results are.  Do know someone who conquered head and neck carcinoma that was given a very poor prognosis.

Thanks DDye. I'm not sure about the HPV but it is being treated by the Head & Neck (/ ENT) team at the hospital. Will post any info on biopsy but it may be next week before I know.
