Hey all,

I'm normally pretty lean person regardless of what I eat, around 6 feet tall and weighing around 78-79 KG.

Without changing my diet I am now 73 KG and can only associate this with starting supplementing with PQQ.

Is this normal? I still eat like a trucker.

Thanks!

How much PQQ are you taking?  I take 20 mg/day and it has not caused any weight-loss for me, although it does seem to increase energy a bit.

Since PQQ benefits mitochondria, it could have been a limiting factor in your metabolism, so adding it caused weight loss. Someone else might be limited by ubiquinol, a B vitamin, chromium or L-carnitine, so PQQ doesn't have the same result.

A lot of supplements help energy and metabolism. I'd love to see a chart or description of how they all interrelate and in what stages of energy production. Everything I take for energy improves my wellbeing, but I still feel like I'm missing a step or two.
