I'm strongly considering upgrading my mom's supplementation from Two-Per-Day Capsules (Item #01714) to LE Mix Tablets (Item #01755).  But I'm wondering about Alpha Lipoic Acid (125 mg) and PABA (30 mg) that is included in the Two-Per-Day Capsules but not in the LE Mix Tablets.

Is there a reason that the supposedly "more complete" LE Mix doesn't include these ingredients?

Would it be beneficial to supplement Alpha Lipoic Acid and/or PABA seperately - or are these not not really needed with the other ingredients in the LE Mix?

  Thanks!

The body makes a certain amount of PABA and 30 milligrams is not much to miss out on.  In my opinion, lipoic acid would be a good addition to most people's formulas, and it is contained in a few other formulas such as Mitochondrial Energy Optimizer.

Good point - I was also surprised the MIX does not contain K2.  I have to take lot's

of "missing" pills too.

Only humans deliberately take another species' milk,
oxidize it and drink it. It goes against natural law.

Life Extension Mix, available in powder, dry capsules or tablets, does not contain many of the nutrients that are sold separately as liquids.  You might want to look into Super Booster http://www.lef.org/Vitamins-Supplements/Item01680/Super-Booster-Softgels-with-Advanced-K2-Complex.html which has vitamin K and other ingredients.
