Could you specify the total amount of beta carotene in micrograms contained in the Two-per-Day Tablets? I'm asking because there is a confusing multitude of formulas for mcg/IU conversion and it's impossible to know which one has been applied by the LEF product development team. Thank you!

PS. I'm asking because I'm a former smoker and I want to make sure I'm not getting doses of beta carotene associated with increased lung cancer risk.

There are 2,700 micrograms beta-carotene per serving of 2 tablets.

Thanks!

Studies which showed an increased risk of lung cancer in (former) smokers used 30mg, so 2,7mg should be a safe amount.
