I was wondering if Life Extension has considered a Gender Specific version of the Two-Per day Capsules or the LEF Mix formulation?  Maybe even carry that idea towards an age specific version for each sex as well?

If this has been considered, what were the factors in not producing the potential formulations.

I realize that LEF supplements are highly customizable and love them for that, but to reduce costs, I think this would be a grand idea!

I think it speaks strongly in favor of the LEF that it doesn't offers such gender specific formulations. In my opinion they are not based on scientific evidence but on marketing considerations - gender specific marketing is a powerful sales tool.

If you closely look at "gender-specific" multivitamin formulations, you'll hardly notice any difference between both products. Often, the only difference is that the formulation for woman has additional iron, which is not good for post menopausal woman.

Some of these multivitamins have additional ingredients for gender-specific conditions like BPH. I think you should take saw palmetto seperately if you suffer from BPH, not with your multi - the amount in such a formulation wouldn't be sufficient anyway.

To Trail, there are no plans in the works for a gender or age-specific version of Life Extension Mix or Two-Per-Day

Life Extension Mix is available in powder, tablets or capsules, regular or extra niacin, and with or without copper.  Two-Per-Day is available in tablets or capsules.  There is also a Children's Formula available which has very low doses of nutrients.
