Thanks for the info Albedo.

He seems very comfortable and confident. For one who teaches anti-aging, why do you think he chooses to maintain an elderly looking appearance? He doesn't seem to look old under that long beard and long hair, but they do make him appear older. Is it an indication that deep inside all of us we have an innate desire to covet and accept getting old? Or do you think he is trying to appear wise like what we traditionally think of a scholarly person?  Or something else?

What do you think?

I recollect someone asking once in a conference the same and he replying, laughing, that he was already xxx yo! I think his appearance goes well along the theme of aging an his Methusalem Foundation.  Moreover, being not really apologetic to involve them every time he can for his cause maybe press and media will better catch on the personage too. Finally, for a guy with I suppose a crazy agenda as his, there is the practical aspect of not loosing time every morning Smile

You might also follow the http://www.sens.org/ site. They just posted there a video of the debate of last April 30th in Oxford opposing him and Prof. Colin Blackmore.

At any anti-aging conference there will be several well-groomed doctors in expensive-looking suits and one wild-eyed hobo-looking dude with a beard and long hair.  Guess who gets the most notice?
