To Westcoaster: one of the  benefits of coffeegenic is to 'level' out your glucose tolerence curve, as well as lowering your FBS, but at 169 lbs your curve is proably flat without it. Coffeegenic is a good antioxidant but for 30 bucks a month, to lose wt, you are wasting your money. Be satisfied with your wt man. The last time I saw 169 was when a was a MLB in HS. Now 57 and 50 lbs heavier I struggle. I like and still take coffeegenic but with your wt. forget it and take the 30 bucks and buy Fruitflow and Brocolli sprout extract, two of the best sups out there.

I take my blood glucose level in the morning occasionally.  I am not diabetic though.   It is around 92.  I noticed that when I take it 2 hours after a normal meal ( salad with meat ..maybe some pasta , no desert )  it would be 125+ post prandial.  I began taking the coffeegenic, and tested my post prandial blood sugar..it was 100..anectdotal of course, but this is my experience

I just got a flyer in the mail from LEF about the CoffeGenic supplement.  I see in previous posts that this works for some but not for others.  I'd like to hear from a lot more members about this supplement.

I have been using CoffeeGenic for about 2 months and have not lost any weight.  I have not been taking a pill 30 minutes prior to eating, somehow missing the key info in the LEF magazine articles.  I am not technically overweight but weigh 10-12 pounds more than I normally do.  I am 5'3", 118-119 pounds, small boned.  We eat well, legumes, whole wheat, fish, poultry and some, but not a lot of meat; we exercise at least 5 or 6 times a week at the gym and/walking and hiking/biking.  We enjoy wine before and with dinner.   I was hoping I could reduce my blood sugar number and lose the 10-12 pounds that have shown themselves in the last couple months.  I also contacted LEF by email a week or so ago and asked for feedback on why I have not lost any weight using CoffeeGenic but received no response.

I would appreciate knowing if LEF users have weight loss results to pass on ..and if these individuals really changed their already good or not so good diets in any way.  I would also like to ask if after weight loss is achieved and presumably blood sugar numbers lowered, is it necessary to continue taking the supplements.   Any and all input would be appreciated.

Dear Members,
I am ultra sensitive to blood sugar dips and spikes, even in am without eating.  Not on meds but would be if I ate SAD.  Does anyone know if the CG can cause hypoglycemia?

There are no warnings of such in association with CoffeeGenic.  However, we are all biochemically unique and may react differently to a specific product than the majority of users.

I decided to give it a try and let you know.

Anyone with additional experience? I am taking it on empty stomach 15-30 mins before meals, 3x / day

Good to read you. I am retaining basic principles of the Zone but could not follow the blocks stuff, maybe when I will have more time. I try to follow the basic messages of increased protein, low glycemic index carbs and good fats. Snacking from time to time. CofeeGenix if there to try reduce my A1C and FG, will see in summer at my next tests. Still in favor of (i) eating well, (ii) exercise and (iii) a targeted supplementation.

Let us know abort you!

Nice to read your answer. At the end the core principles of Zone are logic: enough protein, moderate good carbs and moderate good fats.

In last weeks its interesting to me some ideas of Paul Jaminet of his version of paleodiet, in which he includes white rice and sweet potatoes as 'good starches' but he deletes all legumes.
