A new Yahoo group has just been created for those using BHT [ butylated hydroxytoluene ] as a treatment for viral diseases. I will restate for everyone that: BHT is NOT an approved treatment for ANY disease. BHT is FDA approved as a food preservative only.
Having said that there are  many people who have reported success with the use of BHT to treat some very nasty viral infections. If you wish to join this group go to:   http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/BHTcures/

This group allows you to discuss your experience and compare notes with others using the BHT treatment.   ...Oscar

Gee, I don`t know what to say. Has even one of all the people who read my postings about BHT as a treatment for hepatitis C and other viral diseases here in this forum bothered to join this group ? Evidently people read my postings. This group is growing [ 22 members ] and I really do wonder why people here in this forum do not join if they have an interest in all this. What: Are you all such cold calculating creatures who only read and evaluate what you read in hopes of what exactly ? Putting me down or looking for some way of making money or just keeping any eye on me. Join the group and get with it and quit being a _____.   ...Oscar

Hi Oscar,

I'm a little interested but am concentrating on other things now for my upcoming supplement regimen. It takes a lot of time and I have to do a lot of research. That takes priority in my use of time.

Right now I'm investigating DHA+uridine+GPC as far as cognition, as well as adding astanxanthin and magnesium threonate to that combination. Check out some of that yourself, it may be of some benefit.

Regards,  MrGeorge.

PS: Your post was LOL. Smile

Dear Mr. George, Sorry about that rant of mine. You have always been a friend as have so many others in this forum. That rant of mine was uncalled for and out of line and I do apologize for it. I always enjoy hearing from you. I do embarrass myself now and then. What can I say, except that I am sorry. Sincerely,   ...Oscar

I'm about to join. I do use BHT.  And I'm also taking th exact same regime that MrGeorge but too early to tell any changes yet. The best cognitive change was when I added magnesium threonate . Of course it could be placebo in this short time, but we will see. I have been taking 6mg of astaxanthin for almost a year now.

From what I've read it takes about 10 days of DHA+uridine+GPC to kick in and be noticeable. This is using about 1+grams DHA, 700 mg uridine and 500 to 600 mg GPC. Haven't tried anything yet, still investigating.

Sorry (a little bit) about the thread hijacking.

Dear Mr. George, Do not concern yourself with hijacking. The only _____ in this thread is myself. I really don`t know what gets into me sometimes. I have more than a few screws loose in my brain. I can NOT get away from myself as much as I would like to at times [ very often ]. Oh well,   ...Oscar

POST SCRIPT: I am very happy to report that there are some very knowledeable people that are members of this group and I am learning important things from some of those members.

No worries Oscar, everyone gets 'off' a little now and then. Besides, it was a good laugh from my point of view. Smile

I very much encourage, urge any person interested in the BHT treatment for hepatitis C and other viral infections to join this group. This is the best way of staying in touch with me, Oscar, and other people using the BHT treatments. That is the purpose of this group. Here is that link once again:   http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/BHTcures/

There are now 37 members and all issues surrounding  the use of BHT are being actively discussed at this group.   ...Oscar

The Life Extension Foundation provides HEPATITIS C viral load count tests. I did not know that. This allows for independent testing. This has become an issue in the BHT CURES group. And here is a link to what LEF provides:     http://www.lef.org/Vitamins-Supplements/ItemLC550080/Hepatitis-C-Virus-HCV-Quantitative-Real-time-PCR-Blood-Test.html

Now I have a question for a LEF staff person: How is this done ? Does a person draw their own blood sample and mail it in or what ?   ...Oscar

POST SCRIPT: That link is now in our links section and any information LEF can provide will be appreciated by me and the other group members.
