My doctor will check all of this soon, but I dont have this problems pernamently, only when high stress state occurs, also my tachycardia is OK at the moment, it means I dont have tachycardia. As I stated my ACTH and cortizol are high, they influnce also the stress level generally. I will combine suntheanine, inositol and phosphaditylserine to lower the influence of the stress. Thanks for many advices

Have you considered yoga or qigong?  Specifically the breathing techniques they teach migh help when you feel a panic attack coming on.

I have some similar problems with high cortisol and panick atack .This happend after I made too much exercise to loose weight,(each day 2 hours),with 2-3 cups of green tea or coffee/day and low calories diet. After 7 days I was at hospital with my first panick atack. My cortisol and norepinefrine was too high, and after 6 moths is still high.No panick attacks any more, but each day I have heart palpitations plus anxiety-but no higher heart rate and no higher blood preasure.

To immediate diminuate the palpitations, the best for me is to take 10 mg or propanolol. After even 45 minutes of exercise,my cortisol rise and I lower immediatelly with  magnolia bark extract  300 mg plus phosphatidilserine 200-300 mg,but propanolol have better results for immediate stopping the hearts palpitations .

I took lots of supplements(after I read near eveything about high cortisol, high stress-L-theanine,Vit C,5HTP,GAPA,PS,B vitamins, magnesium, S-AME,etc)-and I was not able to lower the cortisol! But at least,I didn;t have any panick attack. The doctors told me that I must not drink any more caffeine-and is true-after only a cup of coffee-the palpitations starts immediatelly.

My doctors told me that all of this is because of high stress at work, and the only solutions is meditations, respiratory exercises-to lower naturally the cortisol(I have no tumor).DHEA is high(so good DHEA/CORTISOL ratio, all the hormones was checked and are in optimal range-except cortisol and norepinefrine.

If you have any advise,I am happy to receive it-

Welcome to the Forums, Andrei.

You are correct to avoid caffeine if you wish to prevent panic attacks.  If you consume green tea, make sure it is the decaffeinated variety.

I have had a number of illnesses diagnosed over the past 5 years. It gets stressful.

I Have a diagnosis of COPD-fybromyelgia-low blood pressure-high ACTH -High carbondyoxide in the blood-low blood sugars-depression- muscle atrophy- panic attacts- under active thyriod up and down to over active now underactive again and others. I am so frustrated over the issues. I do not want to see another Dr. I do not have the energy to leave my house at all. I am so frustrated with this.

Any ideas of what might be the issues.

Welcome to the Forums, Connie.

While Life Extension Forums members are welcome to share their thoughts, only a physician can confirm the underlying issues.

Panic attacks can be caused by low blood sugar and other factors.

Are you overweight?
