Well i think it is safe to say that Señorgringo has put a spanner in the works lol. First of all though thanks for doing the tests and this is very informative and helpful.

Questions though -  Why would Viaguard produce a formula which seems to be different and have no consistency? I mean we dont even know if Depo would actually work then??

I wonder if we got in contact with them over this experiment we would get some info?? But then again there would probably be no response...

Exactly - clearly they don't give a rat's rectum and neither are they interested in building a constructive relationship with their prospective customer base. They were in it for the quick buck and they probably got it.

My Depo-melanin test.....

Wow, that is a strong reaction! Question - is that a recent batch? And how much peroxide did you mix with how much depo-melanin. Also, since a lot of names are being used - could you please confirm the product you tested is Depo-melanin from Viaguard? Thanks!!

I mixed some Depo one day with hydrogen peroxide and didn't seen any bubbling. Left it there came back maybe and hour later and there were bubbles.

I tested goawaygray with h2o2, nothing happened as far as i can tell, then tested depo, a strong and instant reaction occurred as in the photo above.

i will apply depo to only half of my beard, right side, so if there is any difference i can tell after some time.

It's a recent batch (october). I mix less than a nut of peroxide (loreal hair dye) with 2 drops of Depo-melanin...

Thank you everyone for this thread especially for @pseudocatalase.

I want to bring the attention of everybody to two pieces of very important information that I see absent in this discussion.

I have grey eyelases on one of my eyes due to vitiligo from 10 years ago and I am now 31... It is the only thing left from my defeated vitiligo after all the treatment. So I am a perfect subject to replicate the pseudocatalase claims made the inventor.

First, I have used the pseudocatalase cream from psuedocatalase.com for three months .... I did see very slight improvement in appearance but I did not think the count of grey eyelashes decreased ... However, the worst part was that after three month of usage, I realized the lotion was expired a month a half ago .... I did the hydrogen peroxide and there was not a single bubble ... 1.5 months is a very terrible shelf life.

Second, I orderd the Vitiligo P142 Re-pigmentation from amazon which is manufactured by viaguard (same as Depo-Melanin). The cream is watery which is okay but it does pass the hydrogen peroxide excellently...  But, here is the dubious thing ....  Both  Vitiligo P142 and Depo-Melanin contain the raw catalase protein which is the natural and original H2O2 destructor.  However, the raw catalase to my knowledge is known not to penetrate skin.

The question is now: Does Depo-Melanin/Vitiligo P142  pass the H2O2 bubble test because of its effective pseudocatalase that can penetrate the skin or due to its catalase that is useless as a cream.

After a month of using Vitiligo P142, I dont see any improvement of appearance and actually I think my lashes are thinning which makes them look worse.

Note for both creams, I was using a narrow band UV device and aloso exposing to the sun.

My point is, you guys need to pay attention to those details when doing the hydrogen peroxide test.
I have made an order to the ebay pseudocatalase and hopefully this one will be worth it. At a 50$ it better work.

My first batch of Depo-Melanin (with the white label) didn't have any reaction when Hydrogen Peroxide was added. The second batch I got from them (with the blue label) does bubble, but not a great deal (I posted pics a few pages back). I also got some shampoo from Pseudocatalase and it does bubble, but not spectacularly. I have had NO positive results so far (I'm approaching 3 months).

So at least some of the Depo M is actually bubbling...but it seems like just some of the recent stuff?? What were they thinking??

And even with doing the peroxide tests how can we know that it will actually reverse gray hair anyway?? Surely we should have been seeing SOME positive results by now?? I have pretty much lost hope because i think it is impossible to reverse!!
