My latest bottle of this product has much smaller capsules than the previous version.  (The new version has code 01758A while the old version was 01573B Rev. 10/12.)

I guess the difference is in the Iodine Blend - with the new product Supplement Facts no longer lists the Iodine as "Natural" and includes Potassium Iodide as one of the ingrdients.

Why was this product changed?  Is there any advantages or disadvantages to the new Iodine Blend?

Nova Scotian Kelp, Icelandic Kelpand Nova Scotian Dulse have been removed due to supply issues. Organic kelp andbladderwrack extracts and potassium iodide were added to maintain the dosage of1000 mcg iodine.
